Braden has been talking about his birthday for months and months so when the day finally came he was pretty excited. We made him a banner and decorated with some streamers. What a happy boy! We had pancakes for breakfast and opened a present right away. Dad bought him Legos and he was so excited. As he was opening it he kept saying "oh yes oh yes oh yes oh yes!"
Later that night we had dinner and cake. Braden wanted chicken and rice and gravy and a hulk cake. We got him a hulk costume and he looks pretty cute in it.
The next day we had a little backyard party with some of his friends. We bought hundreds of water balloons and they were gone in minutes! We surprised Braden with a bike, too. He's been needing a bigger one. He is doing so good on it! I love to watch him ride.
Braden is a handful. He is smart and stubborn. He loves to play with Susie and her friends. He also has started drawing and coloring a lot more. I think because he sees Susie color so often. He loves to jump around the house and fight with swords and throw things and play superheroes. He loves to build with Legos. He says the funniest things and keeps me busy. I can always diffuse almost any situation by snuggling and scratching his back. He comes up to my room most mornings while it's still dark and snuggles with me before it's time to wake up. We all love Braden!
