Clark's Half Birthday

Clark turned 18 months on Saturday! 18 months is our favorite half birthday because it means it's time for nursery! I'm actually a little sad, it seemed to come so fast this time.
We made him a cake to celebrate (a whole cake, not a half this time). We sang him happy half birthday and the cake was delicious.

Clark went to nursery  for the first time on Sunday. I tried to get a picture after church in the Primary room but it didn't turn out great. Clark's nursery leader has fallen in love with him already, and I can't say I'm surprised! He is so adorable. She said she pulled out a picture of Jesus during her lesson and Clark said, "Jee!" She said she was pretty impressed.

Clark has grown up a lot in the last couple of months. He just started walking at 17 months. He has learned lot of new words recently. He can say 'uh-oh' and 'mama' and 'chee" (cheese), "thank you" (he says thank you ALL the time), and ball and binky. He woke up from his nap the other day and Susie was at her friends house. He walked all around the house saying "Soos, Soos, Soos" It was so sweet! While he was at Grandma's house she taught him to plug his nose and say "pee-yoo" when he gets his diaper changed. It's hilarious!
Clark loves his blanket and binky. He hardly eats anything at all, but occasionally will eat string cheese and strawberries. He drinks a ton of Vitamin D milk and often stands by the fridge crying until I give him more. He loves to have someone sit down and play with him or chase him around the house. He has lots of teeth and the cutest smile. We love him so much!
