Goblin Valley

We went to Goblin Valley for Fall Break. It was the coolest! There are so many beautiful rock formations and it's all in an open area where the kids could climb and play. They had a blast.

Hotel pools are always a favorite too. After a day of climbing and swimming they slept great.

My favorite thing was on our second day. We hiked around the valley to Goblin's Lair. If we would have known how long the hike was we probably wouldn't have tried it with the kids, it was a bit long for Clark and Timmy and carrying Henry that long was rough. Paul carried him on the way there and I carried him on the way back. But the lair was the coolest! We hiked up a mountain and down inside was a large cavern. It was too tricky a climb for the two youngest so Paul and I took turns with the big kids.

It was a great trip!

Paul's Birthday etc

Paul wanted Belgian waffles and cookies and cream cake for his birthday. We played some pickle ball together and he went out to dinner with some family. Paul is definitely worth celebrating, I love him so much!

Kim and Zac threw their first annual Harry Potter party and it was epic! She had so many details! Timmy won runner up for the costume contest. He made a pretty cute Dobby.

We loved watching conference. This time we gave the kids 5 mom store points for each talk they listened to and took notes on (the little kids just had to listen and color the picture of the speaker). They earned a ton of points!

We had a little Hocus Pocus 2 viewing party.

We went to Cedar Crest farms for our pumpkins and hay bale!

September Photo Update

Susie and I went on a date to the sunflower festival. It was beautiful! We loved walking around all the sunflowers together. We learned that there are so many different kinds! We bought a few extra because Susie wanted to bring one to her piano teacher and teacher at school.

My friend Megan had a birthday. For her birthday she wanted a bunch of us to pick awful dresses out for each other at the DI and then go to the mall food court for dinner. It was hilarious. She even made a video. So funny!

Braden and I had a date to the Rush. I love one-on-one time with the kids.

Susie started 6th grade orchestra! She is doing good job keeping up on piano and violin.

My Aunt and Uncle left on a mission to Australia! I'm so excited for them!
