I've been so excited to go camping and fishing with my family! We went to one of my favorite spots in Utah- Fish Lake. We got a great campsite with lots of shade, brought lots of yummy food, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We went on walks along the lake, skipped rocks, and cooked over the fire. Ah, that's the good life!
Camping with little kids isn't always easy but it's one of my favorite things to do so we tough it out. Luckily my mom was there to help. She actually took baby Clark home with her on the second day so we only had one night with Clark (and he cried a lot of it!)
Theres a little store down at Bowery Haven and we bought ice cream cones one day! Mm!
The highlight of the trip was being out on the lake fishing. We all had such a good time. Fish Lake is beautiful. We caught a good amount of fish, kept some to cook in the fire, and released the smaller ones back as long as they were easy to unhook. Braden got really tired and slept in Paul's lap for about 2 hours! The kids love roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and sleeping in the tent. They had a blast and were exhausted by the end of the trip.
