My birthday weekend was special because we also celebrated Palm Sunday and General Conference. Paul made an awesome birthday dinner with roast and potatoes and asparagus and salad. My friend Chante stopped by and gave me a beautiful stained glass beehive.
Susie and I threw a little tea party the next week. We had banana walnut cake and lemon macarons and the West girls brought finger sandwiches and fruit and scones.
We had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt and Easter baskets the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Henry loved hunting for eggs.
After church on Easter Sunday we went for a temple drive together. We have two temples going up close by, one in Syracuse and one in Layton. We made bird nests and made a mess eating them. During the week before Easter we read scriptures and sang songs each day about the life of Jesus. We put up and pictures each day and try to make Holy Week special.
