Braden turned 7!
We had a few friends over to play outside on his birthday. We played squirt guns and water balloons and sang happy birthday. It was a lot of fun. It's nice to have good friends in the neighborhood.
We have him the Quirkle game, hiking shoes, and a new lego video game. He bought a mood ring with the money Grandma West gave him and Grandma Suzy gave him some pug gear.
A few days later we had the Wests over for a little party. We had hamburgers and hotdogs and rainbow cake. Everyone brought yummy dishes to share. I still need to get some of those recipes. It was fun hanging out and celebrating with family.
We celebrated our 12th anniversary. We had a fancy family dinner with the kids with sparkling cider and candles. The next day Grandma and Grandpa West babysat overnight and it was so nice. We went jet skiing and picnicking at the lake and took naps and went out to eat and went to the drive in movie. So fun!!
