Susie turns 7

We had so much fun celebrating Susie's birthday. We even celebrated birthday-eve by going out for a donut with her friend from school.

Braden and Clark were more than happy to help make the birthday cake. They always like to help me bake, especially when it means licking the beaters. They made such a mess!

But the cake turned out great. Susie requested a chocolate peanut butter Reeses cake. I was more than happy to oblige.

We had a little birthday party/ gender reveal with some friends and family. Aunt Mandy and Aunt Sarah came and Chante and her boys. We had a little snack food dinner with lots of Susie's favorites, home made taquitos and meatballs and pigs in a blanket and fruit.

Susanna is doing great at school. She is reading at the end of 2nd grade level. She is on level for math. She wakes up to her alarm and practices piano every morning before school (which sometimes involves tears- learning piano can be hard). She loves to play outside with her brothers and neighborhood friends. Her favorite thing to pack for lunch is a quesadilla or toast and a go-gurt. She has lost two bottom teeth and has a wiggly front tooth. She is very private with her emotions and has such a huge and tender heart. Here is a picture of little Sue and big Sue.

We found out the day before Susie's birthday that we are having our third boy! Three boys!!! We are feeling excited to meet our newest baby in August. I'm so grateful for all 4 of my babies. And Paul of course :)
