A Crazy Three Months

We've been busy the last 3 months for sure. I'm still recovering. I'm not sure I have the energy to record all that's made it so exhausting... I think I'll just do a few-sentence re-cap.
The same week we found out Clark had RSV, we found out our landlord was putting our rental house up for sale. It sold within 2 days and we started looking. We found something we liked, made a low offer, they accepted, we started packing. We've had things go wrong in the new house which has caused some heart ache and work to fix. I'm hoping that's behind us. Clark has had colds and ear infections and hasn't been sleeping or eating well. We've been back to the doctor because his infection was resistant to amoxicillin so we are trying another antibiotic now. I'm hoping he starts feeling better soon and starts sleeping more regularly!

It hasn't all been hard, we've had some fun the last 3 months too! My Grandma and Grandpa were here when we were in the process of buying our house and helped with the kids which was great. The day we moved Aunt Sarah watched Clark all day and our friends, the Bonneys took the older 2 overnight which was nothing short of fantastic!

We enjoyed celebrating Easter. We got to go to a West family Easter egg hunt the Saturday before and had Easter dinner on Sunday with some of my family who in town. The kids liked their Easter baskets and we read about the Savior's resurrection in the scriptures.

My uncle came and replaced the lights in our kitchen with 10 beautiful can lights as a house warming gift. It looks awesome!

My sister got engaged to this guy and is getting married on July 26th (which is my anniversary!) Her fiancĂ© is so nice. His name is Jean-Pierre Padilla and I think he is perfect for her. I'm really excited for them.

We bought some things from Ikea for the new house and that was fun. Our realtor gave us a $500 gift card! The kids loved playing in the cardboard boxes it came in.

We went up to Rexburg to visit Paul's parents and take a little break. I had my eyes checked at the office I used to work at while I was there. I decided to have them check Braden's as well because just a few days before we went I started to think he might have vision problems. He was reaching for a toy that was only 2 feet away from him and he thought it was his binky. It turns out he has a pretty hefty prescription. Dr. Thueson dilated his eyes and prescribed +8.00 for both eyes. He looks so cute in his new glasses but isn't very good at keeping them on yet.

Clark is growing, growing. His smiles make my day. He is a pretty easy going baby when is he feeling well. His siblings love him to pieces. He isn't on a regular schedule yet which is a little discouraging to me because my other 2 have gotten it a lot quicker and I love schedules. But things have been a little crazy and he hasn't felt well so it's no surprise. I'll just have to be patient while we figure it out.

We blessed Clark yesterday in our new ward. We had family come and share the day with us which was so nice. Paul's parents came from Idaho and my parents drove up from Cedar City. Benjamin and Rebecca and their families came. Mackenzie and Olivia came too with their significant others. We also had Uncle Franklin and Aunt Kathleen with us. It was a special blessing and a special day.

I want to post some pictures of our new house soon. I just need to get around to taking some! It's coming..

  1. Braden looks so cute in glasses! I wish we could have been there for blessing! I hope things settle and are less crazy for you. :)
