Susie turned 12! We had way too much fun celebrating. We got to go on a fun birthday day, shopping and surfing! Plus donuts and Cafe Rio, it was a good time.
She wanted to invite lots of friends so we had a birthday party in the church gym. We set up 9 square and played games. The cute boy that she has a crush on even came, so she was pretty excited.
12 years old! One of her gifts was a folder full of letters from women that she loves. It was a "welcome to womanhood" gift. They each wrote her a note with some advice and it was wonderful. We both loved reading them so much.
Susie is such a sweet girl. To know her is to love her. She has a beautiful heart, she is kind and considerate of others. She helps around the house so much. She loves her friends. She is a joy to be around. I can't believe she's 12 and all registered for Junior High next year! I don't know what I'd do without my Susie.
