This July is our 10 year anniversary. We wanted to go to Hawaii for our 10 years but with the baby coming in August we decided to save and go to San Francisco instead. It's one of my favorite places! My mother in law watched our kids, no easy feat I'm sure.
We had the perfect trip. I didn't know how good it would be to getaway until we did. It did wonders for both of us. Here are a few of the things we did on our little vacation.
We visited Muir Woods. There was hardly anyone there when we went and it was so peaceful and serene and beautiful.
We saw Solo and loved it!
We walked around the piers in the city. I love the sea lions! We tried lots of different food and ate a late lunch at Boudin bakery. That sourdough bread can't be beat. We drove across the bridge and found some beautiful view points.
My favorite activity was the day we drove up to Bodega Bay. We went kayaking in a river off the ocean. It was the best time! Being outside is always my favorite.
It really was the perfect trip! It was also good to come home and be with the kids again and to remember that family life really is the best life. We are so very blessed. It's been a wonderful 10 years.
