Holiday Fun!

We have had a lot of fun enjoying the Christmas season! I love it and the kids love it too! December is so much fun!

We went to the Festival of Trees in Sandy. All the sales go to Primary Children's Hospital. They had some pretty amazing trees! Tinkerbell and the Abominable Snowman were two of our favorites.

At the beginning of the month we started working on giving gifts to the Savior. Every time we do an act of service for someone we write it down and put it in our manger. Susie really loves doing nice things for her brother and helping mom out so she can give a gift to the Savior.

The Clinton city Creche festival was really fun, too. They had hundreds of nativities from all over the world.

We have done a few fun Christmas crafts and made lots of goodies all month. The kids love to help make them and they love to help eat them even more. We had fun delivering treats to some of our friends.

For our ward Christmas party Susie got to be an angel in the nativity play they put together. She was so sweet.

Grandma West sent us Christmas money. Susie couldn't wait to spend it. She only asked me about every 5 minutes if we could go to the store until I finally just took them! We went to Barnes and Noble and they picked out a few great items.

Grandma Suzie and Tiffany came to Salt Lake to see the lights on Temple Square and visit Mackenzie so we bundled up and met them there. It was a lot of fun and not too cold.

Susie has had a lot of fun in her dance class. They learned a little Nutcracker routine with their dolls for Christmas and I got to go and watch.

Probably my favorite holiday activity this year has been sledding. We found the perfect kid sized hill close to our house and went sledding when Paul had a day off. The kids loved it! It was so much fun! They look so cute all bundled up (and pretty funny when their snow hats come off too!).

We are down to 4 weeks before the due date. I am getting pretty uncomfortable but doing good. I've been able to keep exercising which helps me feel good. I can still run 3 miles a few times a week and have been swimming and strength training too. I've also been eating a lot of Christmas treats so the exercise comes in handy. We are all excited for Christmas next week and to meet our new brother in January!
